Communication Options


Communication Options For credit, submit
C1. Write a cover letter for a job opening; Cover Letter Tips A copy of the letter
C2. Take a paper required for one of your classes to the UCA Writing Center. A marked up copy of your paper
C3. Join a club and participate in competitions (e.g., Debate Club, Phi Beta Lambda). Evidence of competition
C4. Volunteer for to make a Kids Camp presentation (to elementary students about saving money). Contact Dr. Mounce to schedule a presentation. A statement that you made the presentation
C5. Volunteer for Junior Achievement,
a program for teaching financial literacy to K-12 students in about 5 lessons. You can volunteer with a friend.
A copy of your instructor packet
C6. Take any elective at UCA from WRTG or SPCH. Your final course grade
C7. Make a 5 minute presentation on a business topic/article.

Make the presentation
C8. Complete the a communiction course through Academic Outreach.
There may be a cost.
Proof of attendance
C9. Write a letter to a government official (e.g., congressman) about an issue that matters to you. Ask an accounting professor or the UCA Writing Center to look over the letter before you send it. Marked up and final copy of the letter.
C10. Write an article or letter to the editor of the Echo or other newspaper. Ask an accounting professor or the UCA Writing Center to look over the letter before you send it. Marked up and final copy of the letter.
C11. You may suggest other communication options; get approval first Statement of completion
